Also Known As: Salt Range

The Lati is a fat tailed mutton and wool breed found in the Salt Range hills and the surrounding areas including districts of Rawalpini, Attock and Jhelum and parts of Mianwali and Sargodha districts in Punjab Province, Pakistan.

They are a medium size with a white body coat with a tan or tan spotted head. The wool yield is 1.5 kg (medium; fiber diameter 34.9 m). Their ears are small and the tail is a medium sized hanging fat tail. They have a low fiber density.
