Also Known By: Weißes Bergschaf, White Mountain, Deutsches Weisses Bergschaf

 

The German Mountain breed is found the Bavarian Alps and Prealps of southern Germany. The breed was developed by grading local breeds to Bergamasca and Tyrol Mountain. It is a coarse to medium wooled breed and is polled.
